PASSAGE 17 : RUNNING FROM THE COLD!
Heading out of New England on the first leg of our passage to the Caribbean with stop in beautiful St. Georges.
This Offshore Sail Training trip blows us down to Bermuda. Join us for 650 NM on this open ocean passage starting from the premier sailing grounds of New England.
After we set sail you will experience life at sea to the fullest, sailing at least five days non-stop to Bermuda. Dive into the deep end and learn about navigating the busy waters of New England to open water and offshore sailing. Upon arrival in Bermuda you’ll get a taste of the cruising lifestyle when we drop anchor in St. Georges' stunning bay.
This trip will bring you an experience of a lifetime in a unique sailing environment!
TRAVEL LOGISTICS:
All our sailing trips are subject to weather conditions which could influence our route and expected departure and arrival dates.
Arrive to the vessel on October 26th for the crew dinner and meet-up!
Major airports located around are: Providence T.F. Green International Airport (PVD), Hartford (BDL), Westerly (WST) and Boston (BOS). Amtrak Train also covers a large part of this coastline. There is a ferry service between Providence and Newport.
We expect to arrive in Bermuda no later then November 1st, but please plan your departure from the vessel on November 2nd to allow enough time to complete the passage.
