During this Offshore and Cruiser Training trip we show you what life at sea is like; sailing from sunrise to sunset and beyond. Join us and cast off into the deep blue while fishing, star gazing, sail trimming and learn about plotting, navigating, weather, safety and REAL sailing! 

 

Although this passage focuses on blue water miles and offshore sailing, depending on our weather window and opportunity Captain Ryan can decide on potential stops underway. Stops could include St. Martin, Guadeloupe, Martinique or St. Lucia. The four main European colonial powers from the past have left the islands with unique features and rich history. Visiting them by sea is truly a great way to explore the diversity of the islands. We will finish in the beautiful Caribbean island of Spice: Grenada!

Libra provides you with the perfect setting to gain knowledge and confidence in offshore sailing, navigating and cruising the Caribbean. During this hands-on experience we will show you our playground and teach you the ropes. No previous sailing experience is necessary, since Captain Ryan involves every crew at their own level of skill. We welcome sailors and aspiring sailors of all levels.

Arrive in St Thomas Cyril E. King Airport (STT) on January 11th, one day prior to departure.

 

Disembarking from Libra is in Grenada on January 18th. The airport is Maurice Bishop International Airport (GND). Bring your passport to enter Grenada.
